The charity we are supporting this year is Parkinson's UK Horsham and we hope walkers will help raise funds by making a donation or by being sponsored, but this is not a condition of joining the Walk. 

Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition that cause problems in the brain which get worse over time. People with Parkinson's don't have enough of the chemical dopamine as some of the nerve cells that make it have died.

There are lots of different treatments, therapies and support available to help manage the condition and researchers are working hard to develop new and better treatments - and one day a cure.

Opportunities to donate by cash, cheque and card will also be available on the day of the Annual Walk.

If you wish to ask people to sponsor you for your walk, either by the mile completed or a lump sum, a sponsorship form is shown below to download and print as many copies as you need.

Please make sure the details of each donation are recorded accurately and in your sponsor's own hand. Forms in the same handwriting, or printed. are not valid for Gift Aid purposes

Ask your sponsors to use CAPITAL letters

When the donor ticks the Gift Aid box, every £1 given is increased by another 25p at no expense to them.

Gift Aid cannot be claimed for a business address or multiple sponsors such as Mr & Mrs Jones.

The names and addresses given will not be passed on or used for mailing purposes by Parkinson's UK or Horsham Town Community Partnership.
